Make a donation for the advancement of economics
The Econometric Society aims to promote and disseminate economics as a science – online, through our seminal journals and at conferences around the world – as it has since its founding in 1930. From graduate students who are starting out to researchers whose contributions have influenced economic investigation, policy and practice for decades, the Econometric Society stands alone as the internationally-based home for constructive and rigorous research in the field.
In 2017, the Econometric Society will apply the funds generated through its Annual Appeal toward:
- Expanding the reach of Econometrica, Quantitative Economics and Theoretical Economics.
- Providing additional global travel grants for young economists and researchers from lower-income regions
- Developing summer school programs, workshops and meetings in countries such as China, Korea, Argentina, Portugal and the United States that foster debate and collaboration.
The funds generated through this Annual Appeal will help us expand our core activities and support constructive and rigorous research across the world.
