Important Dates

The Centre for Development Economics, at the Delhi School of Economics, jointly with the Econometric Society, is now accepting contributed papers in any field of Economics for the Delhi Winter School (WS2022) to be held from December 14 to December 17, 2022 in offline mode.

The invited speakers for WS2022 are:
• Aldo Rustichini (Minnesota)
• Michael Greenstone (Chicago)
• Raouf Boucekkine (Rennes School of Business/Aix-Marseille School of Economics)
• Bruce Hansen (Wisconsin Madison)

Each invited speaker will deliver a set of three lectures. The School will also feature presentations of selected contributed papers by junior scholars. Graduate students and junior faculty are strongly encouraged to submit papers for this part of the programme.

Submission Procedure:
The contributed paper submission process will remain open till September 16, 2022. Papers must be submitted electronically in pdf format through the Conference Maker website at:

A person may submit and present only one paper. However, a person may be a co-author of several papers submitted to the School. Early submissions are encouraged. Decisions will be conveyed by October 15.

Submitters of papers in WS2022 must be members (or become members) of the Econometric Society. [For the research scholars and students from India and other low- or middle-income countries (as per WB classification), ES annual membership fee is nominal, only USD 10]. Best Paper Awards:
The Econometric Society will sponsor 4 best paper awards in different fields.

Registration:
All selected paper presenters must be registered. Additionally, those who wish to attend the conference must register during the period mentioned.

Registration Fee:
PhD Students: Indian Rupees 1,000 (+18% GST*) for PhD students based in India; US$ 50  (+18% GST*) for overseas PhD students.

Others: Indian Rupees 2,000  (+18% GST*) for participants based in India; US$ 100  (+18% GST*) for overseas participants.

Registration fee will cover lunches, snacks and coffee/tea during breaks.

* GST stands for Goods and Services Tax.

An online registration form will be put up in due course on the event website.

Wearing masks and maintaining social distancing is mandatory in all public places in India, including the venue of the event. Further instructions, if any, will be posted on our website.
