The 2022 Asian Summer School in Econometrics and Statistics of the Econometric Society will be held online by the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China, on July 18-23, 2022. The Summer School is organized by the School of Economics and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Center for Forecasting Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and co-organized by Paula and Gregory Chow Institute for Studies in Economics, Xiamen University, and School of Economics, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. 

Given the COVID-19 pandemic and associated travel restrictions, only online participation/presentation will be allowed. All the presentations will be available on a virtual platform.

Registration

Registration would be open on March 10, 2022. You can register for the Summer School at http://summerschool2022.casconf.cn before May 31, 2022. Please indicate whether you will attend the Summer School on-site or online. Admission decisions will be announced around June 10, 2022 and will be notified individually.

Registration fees and living costs

Presenters must be members of the Econometric Society. To join the Econometric Society, please visit http://www.econometricsociety.org. There is no additional registration fee for the Summer School. Participating students are responsible for their own living costs (e.g., travel, housing, and food expenses) during the Summer School.
