In the light of continuing uncertainty over the COVID situation, the meeting will be held virtually. There are also new dates for the meeting which will now take place from December 13-15, 2021. These earlier dates will allow job market candidates to present at the meeting and to attend virtual interviews at the European Job Market for Economists.

In the light of these changes, the submission process is now open for an extra week, through September 19, 2021. Papers must be submitted electronically in pdf format through the Conference Maker website at http://editorialexpress.com/conference/ESWM21/.

Each person may submit and present only one paper; however, each person is allowed to be a co-author of several papers submitted to the conference.

When submitting your paper through Conference Maker, please choose from the drop-down menu the appropriate program committee area associated with your paper topic.
At least one of the authors must be a member of the Econometric Society.  Authors may join the Society at http://www.econometricsociety.org/.

Decisions will be made by October 15th. All participants must register for the conference. Registration will be open from October 15 to November 8, 2021. More information will be available on the conference website soon.

The plenary speakers will be Sule Alan (European University Institute), Isaiah Andrews (Harvard University) and Rafaella Giacomini (University College London). The Program Chair is Sarah Smith (University of Bristol) and the Local Organizing Committee Chair is Nezih Guner (CEMFI).
