The 2012 ballot of the Econometric Society included a special ballot of the Fellows on the incorporation of the Econometric Society (see here for background note).
The result of the special ballot is as follows. 272 Fellows voted in the special ballot, with 244 voting in favor (89.7%), 7 against (2.6%) and 21 abstaining (7.7%). Therefore, the proposal is carried with the required 2/3 majority.
