The Congress Organisation is pleased to invite all of the participants and registered accompanying persons to the EEA & ESEM 2002 Joint Reception. The event takes place within the famous walls of the Doges Palace, in Piazza San Marco, where you may discover the magic and the beauty of the Venice's biggest civic building.
During this exclusive occasion, the entire palace is at the Congress attendees complete disposal. Participants have the opportunity to enjoy this magnificent and unique building with guided tours, given every 15 minutes, in different languages by qualified hostesses. Alternatively, you may choose to tour the palace unaccompanied.
A balmy August evening can only emphasise the splendour of Doges Palace, where a full buffet dinner is held in the courtyard hidden within the palace, surrounded by the solemn and sumptuous sculptures including the magnificent giants staircase, shrouded by Sansovino's sculptures of Neptune and Mars. Throughout the evening, a classical music, the Accademia Vivvaldiana di Venezia, a 10 piece string ensemble will play selected music from Vivaldi, Albioni and Galuppi accompanying the fantastic Italian cuisine and wines that will be served in this occasion.
